Halkett Electrical are a top-notch electrical company operating out of Christchurch and servicing the wider Canterbury area. Offering residential and commercial wiring jobs, as well as heat pumps, air conditioning units, switchboards and lighting arrangements, Halkett is available for new builds and renovations alike, tackling anything electricity-based.
Stanley came to us from the Tradie 10X offer, looking for a way to boost his web presence across the surrounding Christchurch districts and further advertise his services. His current branding and online portfolio were rather lacking and didn’t express the high quality of work Halkett Electrical provided. It was time for a changeover.

Melia Marketing worked to deliver a design that would help Stanley stand out, using the red element from his logo but giving it a sophisticated gradient. The unique font choice and use of select text backdrops also help this website differ from its competitors.
Team is of great importance to Halket Electrical, and the new site now proudly displays the company’s full staff on the front page. A photoshoot, taken during the building of the website, gives the company a better profile and shows off the branding well.
Making sure people understood the dearth of services was also a major point. The website includes four service pages with definite calls to action, getting prospective customers to fill in a free quote form. Using carousels and images, the pages are kept light and easy to navigate.
Several SEO pages were also included to help Stanley rank for areas such as Kaipoi, Rolleston and Lincoln, areas that Halkett Electrical see high demand.
The end result is a high-quality website that we’re now running Facebook and Google Ads to, with periodic campaigns. Halkett Electrical’s Google presence has improved online, making them searchable. With a new contact form, it’s also easier for Stanley to chase up leads, find out what they want and get in contact with his customers.
Stanley is continuing to build up his reputation in the Christchurch area, delivering quality electrical services to residential and commercial enterprises alike.
