Mr Property Services is an all-round building specialist, helping residential and commercial outfits with new builds, fix-ups, or property compliance upgrades. With the option to hire the team for full property maintenance, project management or individual build and repair jobs, Mr Property Services is the definition of handy, tackling all jobs related to property management.
Matt, the managing director, would like to expand Mr Property Services into a franchise, eventually seeing a Mr Property Services in every major city in New Zealand. But to begin this journey, Matt needed a better online representation of his business that would teach people about his different service offerings and instil trust in the brand. His old site was a single pager, which didn’t explain any of the services and included only a contact number and some of the brand’s key values. So, Matt turned to us at Melia Marketing for a full website solution.

Basing the site on the brand logo, we devised a design that heavily utilised black, the primary colour of the work uniforms. The home page is dedicated to explaining the core service offerings and includes steps to contacting Matt and the team. Here, we wanted the website copy to call out to anyone looking for maintenance jobs, making sure the contact number was displayed most prominently on the home page. Viewers can also click ‘Get a quote’ to easily get in contact and make an enquiry. We added plenty of high-quality imagery to make the site more visual and included the team below to show off the range of experiences.
An ‘about’ section further highlights the team’s qualifications, whilst calls to action help the scrolling reader easily navigate through to the enquiry page. The most important next step was to include detailed service pages to reduce the chance of people leaving the site not finding what they came for. Each service page includes information about the particular offering, breaking down into smaller subsets of the service to explain the full breadth of Mr Property Service’s repertoire. Links to previous projects show their professional work in action, whilst testimonials add further credence to Mr Property Service’s claims.
The rollout of this website was twofold, with a new one-pager launched first to ensure that something was online and converting site visitors. The rest of the website was developed later when we had gathered enough information to showcase the full range of services offered by Matt and the team.
The end result is a website that’s much more SEO friendly, reflecting the Mr Property Services brand and its level of professional offerings. With more pages and definite calls to action, Matt’s website is far more optimised for the web than his previous landing page.
With his website underway, Matt is looking to advise further and bring more people to the site, increasing the number of online conversions. We are working with Matt to achieve this goal and to optimise his online presence and lead generation process.
